PUBLIC SPEAKING
The Point Avenue Debate Summer Camp is a platform that helps students develop their critical thinking skills, effective communication, teamwork, idea generation, and maintain confidence when stepping into international environments
DEBATE BOOTCAMP
Time:
2 weeks (10 lessons) x 3h/day
The focus is on introducing public speaking skills to help students communicate effectively, enhance critical thinking skills, and deliver various types of speeches to the audience.
PUBLIC SPEAKING
Eligibility:
Junior: Grade 3 - 5
Senior: Grade 6 - 8

2 weeks (10 lessons) x 3h/day
This course will delve into the power of words and rhetoric by examining influential speeches throughout history. Students will research the life and times of influential speakers to better understand the context, delivery, and impact of speeches that have shaped societies, inspired movements, and now help to predict the future.
Eligibility: 
Junior: Grade 3 - 5
Senior: Grade 4 - 8
SPEECHES THAT INFLUENCE
Time:
2 weeks (10 lessons) x 3h/day
Students will analyze, discuss, debate, and present solutions to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDGs are 17 goals set by the United Nations to address global challenges, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, peace and justice. This course is for students who want to apply their public speaking and debating skills to real-world problems. 
SPEAK TO INSPIRE: COMMUNITY
Eligibility: 
Junior: Grade 4 - 5
Senior: Grade 6 - 8
Time:
2 weeks (10 lessons) x 3h/day + 2-tournament days
The focus is on training students to prepare for debating competitions, helping them refine skills and improve weaknesses through practice matches with peers of the same age group

- Utilizing two brainstorming techniques to generate ideas: Needs-Practicality-Impact (NPI) Analysis Technique and Stakeholder Analysis

The debate coaches at Point Avenue come from Europe, Asia, and Africa, with many years of experience in organizing and judging international debating competitions. They guide students in competitions and have won numerous world championships
