Our mission at Point Avenue is “to empower tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world through wisdom, integrity and compassion”--all things that are in short supply these days. It is with this goal in mind that we have sought out some of the most hard-working and compassionate students and provided them with the guidance to not only gain entrance into the universities of their dreams, but also to become leaders who positively impact their communities. In return, our reward is having the privilege to be their mentors and help them on the path to make a difference in the world.
If you seek to make the world a better place, then you’re exactly who we’ve been looking for!
Today, we invite you to apply to the first ever Point Avenue Scholarship Program! If you are a Grade 10-11 student with goals to pursue higher education in the US, UK, or Canada, please submit an application and we can’t wait to meet you!

Point Avenue is where I have learned the true definition of leadership. You are all busy but always willing to spend time with us. You taught me that great leadership isn’t based on a top-down system, but on collaboration and understanding.
Point Avenue is where I have learned to embrace differences and respect my own choices. Most people just see the tip of the iceberg. I was urged by Point Avenue mentors to look at matters from different perspectives, and I think I really have become a more accepting person, to other people and to myself.
Point Avenue mentors taught me so many things. Jason, my mentor, went much more beyond essay reviewing. He told me how he learned to write, how to criticize my own work, and how resilient I must be. If he had just taught me how to write application essays, then that would be all I would learn. But by learning how to actually write, I can write anything.
All the things I learned about writing, about not giving up, about bench pressing, about running a half marathon, and all the relationships I have built at Point Avenue--It is more than enough.
