High School Debate

Students will combine their foundational knowledge of debate, world history, and literature to create well-rounded arguments and pointed rebuttals demonstrating mastery of the 3:3 Parliamentary Debate Format. Additionally, students will practice and improve their debating skills by exploring current events in the area of politics, the environment and education. Students will continue getting exposure to the competitive debate world using advanced rhetorical devices and vocabulary while observing the technical structure of the Parliamentary Debate Format.
