A guided hiking program inspired by the UK’s Mountain Leader standard. Learn to pack smart, dress for the elements, read maps, plan routes, and hike as part of a team. Every hike builds trail confidence, physical fitness, and real-world outdoor skills. From terrain and weather to pacing and trail etiquette - sharpen your instincts one step at a time.

COURSE BOOK

Hill Walking is the go-to reference book for anyone who walks in the hills. A huge part of hiking’s broad appeal is that there are no rules or requirements for joining in, which makes it more accessible than many other sports or activities. There is a level of knowledge and certain skills that are essential for journeys beyond the local country park, which is where Hill Walking can help.
